What are the criteria?
Security guard:

   
1. Must be between 20 to 45 years of age, more than 160cm in height, possess an acceptable weight/height ratio.
2. Must be of overall good health without any severe sickness or disability, hindering job performance.
3. Must be of good conduct and possess a courteous, orderly and pleasant work attitude.
4. Must NOT be an ex- convict and must be without any criminal records.
5. Must be cleaned from all illegal drugs and not alcoholic.
6. Special consideration is given to one who has passed the National Service
7. Both male and female are acceptable.
8. A minimum educationa of high school level
9. Must pass NCC’s physical examination
   
Additional conditions for senior security guard:
 
1. Must possess the ability to lead.
2. Must be between 20 to 40 years of age.
3. A minimum education of high school level (year 3)
4. Previously work as a soldier or for other soldiers/ police officers. If none, must possess security guarding-related experience of at least 2 years.
5. Additional ability such as the basic understanding of English (speaking & reading) will be specially considered.
